A family joint made special

Ingredients

  • A piece of ham for your family
  • 2 cups of water
  • World of Spice Meat rub
  • English mustard
  • 200ml honey

Method

  1. Remove the rind of the joint being used
  2. Score the flesh on the ham with a sharp knife, cross the marking if you can to a 1 cm depth
  3. Rub English mustard generously onto ham, this acts like a sticky outer as well as super seasoning
  4. Rub World of Spice Meat rub into scars of grooves on ham, let the seasoning remain on the meat all over the joint
  5. Place meat in an oven dish
  6. Add water to oven tray then cover (tin foil) and oven bake
  7. When cooked, (prick meat and juices that flow are clear) remove foil
  8. Pour honey all over the meat and bake for a further 20 mins or until golden brown and glistening
  9. Leave to cool for 20-30 mins before attempting to carve and enjoy your lovely honey baked ham served with baked potatoes and sweet beetroot salads
